He never saw the backing to put his visions on that blue screen, but that never kept him from scheming. You've only seen films that were made by his biggest fans, often times real talent can go unrecognized. So, Squirrel T. Jones has gone it alone, he put his films on the moon, in a silver tube. He's director to the moon. Instead of climbing backwards, we should just pretend, to have a voice doesn't give you any rights. We go around the system, we can take it to a different height. Building walls will only teach us to climb. So, Squirrel T. Jones has so much to give, he put his films on the moon, in a silver tube. He's director to the moon. Worth is measured in green, without, nothing is seen. But Squirrel, he knew, he'd have to wait for a future life. Have to wait for a future life. Have to wait for a future life. Have to wait for a future life. Have to wait for a future life. Have to wait for a future life.

I didn't follow you home last night, and no, that's not a line. Because you didn't make it home last night. You asked me to come out for blueberry wine, but when I got there, you had already gone for a ride. Your friends all say that we're through, but I can't seem get over you. Oompa Loompa and the Blueberry Girl. She's always got somewhere to be. Willy Wonka and his chocolate sea. Two by two they're just where they need to be. A picture of you in a downtown high rise, with bloated heart and fantasy gone awry. It's been months since I beat on my monkey, like it owed money. But in the dark I show it things that don't get erased. Your friends all say that we're through, but I can't seem to get over you. Oompa Loompa and the Blueberry Girl. She's always got somewhere to be. Willy Wonka and his chocolate sea. Two by two they're just where they need to be.

Dreamer dreamer, please forgive me I don't know just what I've done- but I thought that I could turn to you and- I've been singing underwater, breathing in and breathing out Lungs are filled with worlds of secrets I thought I wasn't supposed to let them out. I was supposed to get it all right, get it all right- but I didn't know how to- When were you ever gonna let go of your dark heart your mothers black hat, I wasn't supposed to be loved- I was supposed to get it all right. Mother mother, please forgive me I don't think I'm coming down I've been living in the dreamland too long to ever want to come back home.

about

Good Folk Fest is an art and music festival centrally located in the heart of the US, Louisville-Kentucky. This is the 5th year for the festival that features over 80 local, regional, and internationally known outsider, visionary and folk artists and topped off with performances from a hand full of musicians that share the common bonds of raw creative energy and crafty resourcefulness. Good Folk Fest is the only one of its kind in the region.

In years past it has been held in several unique venues. This year we are pleased to announce that it will be held at Tim Faulkner Gallery in the historic Portland neighborhood at 1512 Portland Ave Louisville, KY.
